Rustproofing before the salt trucks come out
Ottawa salts its roads from the first snow until spring, and the brine sits in seams, rocker panels and brake lines all winter. A no drip undercoating is $140 on a car and $180 on an SUV. Book it in the fall so the coating goes onto a dry underside before the first storm.

Jobs that depend on the car, like brake repair or a battery, have no posted price because the parts change from one model to the next. For those we look at the car first, then call you with the price. Nothing gets replaced until you say yes on the phone.
If you do not know what is wrong, the $50 computer diagnostics is the usual place to start. A code on its own is a clue, not an answer, so we read it, check what it points to, and tell you what we found in plain words.
Open Saturday, right off the 417
Star Top Road sits beside Highway 417 Exit 112 at Innes Road, in the Cyrville industrial area of old Gloucester. Coming from downtown, Orléans or the 174, you are off the highway and at the door in a couple of minutes, without fighting Innes Road traffic through Blackburn.
Weekdays run 8:30am to 6pm, and Saturday 9:30am to 2pm. That Saturday morning is when most people can get their winter tires on or deal with a check engine light without taking a day off. The last drop off of the day is 2pm, so if you want the car back that evening, bring it early. Book online at any hour, or see directions and hours.
